Custom Adapters

At Contech solutions, we have the capability and the engineering know how to design and manufacture any special adapter, regardless of pin count pitch or degree of difficulty.

Custom adapters can provide diverse solutions to resolve any board level mating mismatches, and facilitate appropriate routing between any device and any test board when there is a compatibility issue. Custom adapters can change any 2 given footprints to resolve mismatches in order to preserve an expensive DUT, or ATE board.

Surface mount adapters allow easy replacement of surface mount devices without damage or rework. A surface mount device simulator is soldered onto the existing SMT footprint, and the signals are routed via a PCB card to a ZIF socket on top side.
